MCE Outlines Healthcare Expansion Plans at Matriculation

The MCE speaking at the 19th matriculation ceremony of the College of Health Sciences in Yendi announced exciting plans for the construction of five Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds at Nakpachei,Kulkpini,Bongni,Ngani and Kpalgigbuni communities
He emphasized that these new health facilities will not only enhance access to quality healthcare for residents but also create valuable employment opportunities for nurses and midwives.
Additionally, he shared that the Member of Parliament Mr. Lawyer Abdul Fataw Jofa is expected to cut the sod in the coming weeks for the construction of a six-unit classroom block and teachers’ bungalows, aimed at improving the academic infrastructure of the institution.
Mr. Muniru encouraged the newly admitted students to remain disciplined and dedicated to their studies and urged them to take full advantage of various government support initiatives available to them, including the No Fees Stress policy, nurses’ allowances, and the student loan scheme, to successfully complete their training and contribute meaningfully to national development.
