The furniture is expected to enhance the teaching and learning environment by providing pupils and teachers with adequate classroom facilities, thereby promoting quality education across the municipality.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Akabila emphasized that education remains one of her administration's top priorities, stressing that every child deserves access to a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment.

"Every child deserves a safe and conducive environment to learn, and this intervention is a step towards improving teaching and learning in our schools," she stated.

The MCE assured residents of the West Akim Municipality that the provision of the furniture marks the beginning of a broader effort to improve educational infrastructure and support quality education in the municipality.

"I want to assure the good people of West Akim that this is only the beginning. There is more to come. My commitment is to continue working tirelessly to improve educational infrastructure and ensure our children have the resources they need to succeed," she added.

The Municipal Education Directorate expressed appreciation to the Assembly for the timely intervention, noting that the furniture would help address classroom furniture shortages in beneficiary schools and create a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
