Mr. Ziyad, who also serves as the Assembly Member for the Amamomo Electoral Area, received unanimous support from members, securing all 30 votes cast, representing 100 percent of the valid votes.

Following his declaration as duly elected by the Deputy Greater Accra Regional Officer of the Electoral Commission, Ms Victoria Yakuba, Mr. Ziyad was sworn into office by Circuit Court Judge, His Honour Jojo Amoah Hagan.

In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Ziyad expressed appreciation to Assembly Members for the renewed confidence placed in him, describing the unanimous endorsement as a strong affirmation of his leadership.

He stressed the need for unity and collaboration to advance the Assembly’s work, noting that sustained progress could only be achieved when members worked together towards a common vision.

Mr. Ziyad further indicated that although members may have individual expectations and concerns, sincerity and collective commitment were essential to driving the Assembly’s development agenda.

He therefore urged members to remain focused and dedicated, adding that the Assembly had the capacity to achieve meaningful results if all stakeholders played their respective roles.
