Ofinso North Completes Nkenkaasu Presby JHS Classroom Block

The Ofinso North Municipal Assembly has completed the 1No. 3-Unit Classroom Block at Nkenkaasu Presby JHS, bringing an end to a project that had stalled for several years.

The construction of the classroom block began in 2020 under the previous government and progressed to the window-installation stage before work was suspended.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ofinso North, Caesar Acheampong Ofosu, explained that the project remained at that stage for an extended period until the current administration intervened to complete the facility.

He said funding from the 20% District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) Legacy Project Fund was used to complete the outstanding works.

Following the completion of construction, the 1No. 3-Unit Classroom Block at Nkenkaasu Presby JHS has also been fully furnished with desks, chairs and other essential furniture and equipment.

The facility is now ready for use by pupils and teachers, providing the school with additional classroom space and improved conditions for teaching and learning.

The completion of the project marks the conclusion of an infrastructure initiative that began under one administration and was completed under another.
