The Assembly comprises 30 elected assembly members and 14 government appointees.

In an election conducted and supervised by the Electoral Commission (EC), the President nominee secured 31 ‘yes’ votes representing 70 per cent of the total votes of the Assembly.

Mr Adomah thanked the Assembly Members for his endorsement and pledged to work hard for the rapid development of the municipality.

Earlier, Baffour Kwadwo Damoah Afari, the Sanaahene (sub-chief) of the Dormaa Traditional Area, called for a peaceful conduct of the elections, urging them to endorse the President nominee for the purpose of development.

Mr Nar- ire P David, the Dormaa Central Municipal Coordinating Director commended the assembly members for the peaceful conduct of the elections.
