Cape Coast Mayor Inaugurates Tourism, Development, and Sanitation Ambassadors

The Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, inaugurated and inducted the second cohort of CCMA Tourism and Development Ambassadors, alongside the maiden cohort of Sanitation Ambassadors.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the city’s vision to harness tourism potential, drive infrastructure development, and strengthen sanitation systems. The General Overseer of Moulders Chapel International, Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abeiku Aggrey, was inducted as the Dean of all Ambassadors.

Accepting the role, Prophet Dr. Aggrey expressed heartfelt gratitude and pledged to serve Cape Coast with dedication, noting his deep roots in the city. As a demonstration of his commitment, he announced the donation of 50 large dustbins to support the Assembly’s sanitation drive, a gesture warmly welcomed by stakeholders.

The initiative reflects Cape Coast’s determination to build a cleaner, stronger, and more prosperous metropolis, positioning itself as a model city for sustainable urban development in Ghana.
