Jaman South Assembly confirms SIATA WATARA as MCE
Assembly members of Jaman South Municipal Assemblies1 has endorsed the President's nominee for Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Madam Siata Watara.

Madam Siata Watara had 55 out 57 of the total votes cast, representing 96.49 per cent of the valid votes in an election conducted by the Municipal Electoral Commission.
Madam Siata Watara aged 35 holds a Master in Education (Political Science) from University of Education Winneba and BA (Social Sciences) from University of Education Winneba.
Madam Siata prior to his appointment was a Tutor at Drobo Senior High School.
Madam Siata expressed gratitude and appreciation to H.E John Dramani Mahama, the President for the confidence reposed in her to serve the people of the Jaman South. He pledged to serve the people diligently and with commitment.
She assured working diligently with stakeholders to bring the needed confirmation, he expressed gratitude for his massive endorsement and said it was an indication that the people were ready to reset the District by hard work to change their fortunesgrowth and development for the people of Jaman South
The new was sworn-in to office by His Lordship Justice Gabriel Mate-Teye, a Superving High Court Judge of Sunyani High Court.
He pledged to serve the diligently and with commitment. Bono Regional Minister, Mr. Joseph Addae Akwaboa in his remarks, described the MCE and DCE as a proactive and determined persons who would work hard to promote the President’s development agenda of restting Ghana and urged the Assembly to support them for the success of their respective as a whole.
He urged the people led by the traditional authorities to support them in their quest to realize their dreams of bringing development to the area.
