The commissioning ceremony brought together key stakeholders, including the Municipal Education Director, Henry Ayetse, staff of the Municipal Assembly, party executives, traditional authorities, teachers, and members of the community.
Addressing the gathering, the MCE explained that the project was initiated under the previous administration but was left uncompleted. He noted that upon assuming office, his administration made the completion of the project a priority to ensure that residents of Ga South benefit from the facility.
Hon. Ocansey stressed that governance should be driven by continuity, responsibility, and development rather than partisanship. According to him, any project aimed at improving the welfare of residents would always receive the necessary attention, regardless of the administration that initiated it.
He further stated that the completion of the classroom block aligns with the Resetting Agenda of John Dramani Mahama, which focuses on strengthening public infrastructure, improving education, and promoting inclusive national development. He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting this national vision to reset Ghana’s development trajectory.
On his part, Hon. Isaac Awuku Yibor reiterated his commitment to improving education within the constituency. He disclosed that work is ongoing on an additional three-unit classroom block in the area and assured residents of continued efforts to expand educational infrastructure and enhance teaching and learning conditions.
Community members expressed appreciation for the completion of the long-awaited project and welcomed the ongoing educational developments in the area.
