The intervention, spearheaded by Member of Parliament Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, is aimed at strengthening patrol operations, enhancing rapid response capabilities, and improving overall public safety within the constituency.

Presenting the vehicle, the MP emphasized that security remains a critical pillar of development, noting that no meaningful progress can be achieved in an atmosphere of insecurity. She expressed confidence that the addition of the pickup to the Divisional Command’s fleet will significantly improve mobility, visibility, and operational efficiency of officers in the discharge of their duties.

The Bereku Divisional Command, which oversees several communities within the constituency, is expected to leverage the vehicle to intensify patrols, respond swiftly to distress calls, and reinforce law and order across the district.

Residents have welcomed the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful. Many believe the donation will not only deter criminal activities but also strengthen the relationship between the police and the communities they serve.
