President Akufo Addo commissions Ahafo RCC office complex

The RCC office complex forms part of the six new administrative buildings constructed for the six newly created regions.
The President expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ahafo for supporting him throughout his two terms in office as president and also to finally say goodbye as his tenure of office comes to a successful end.
He reminded the people of some of his policies including planting for food and jobs which first commenced in the Ahafo region, the Free Senior High School program that has benefited over 5 million Ghanaian populations since its inception in 2017.
Mr. Asenso Boakye, Minister for Roads and Highways highlighted some road projects in the region stating that about 414 kilometers of roads have successfully been done since 2017 within the Ahafo region.
He mentioned roads like the Bechem-Techimantia-Akomadan road, Akrodie-Sayereso road and Dadiesoaba-Twabidi feeder roads have all been completed successfully. Other series of roads are still under construction hoping to be completed soon, he added.
Mr. George Boakye, the Ahafo Regional Minister, thanked the president for works done within the Ahafo Region.
He made it known that apart from the Ahafo RCC, the Regional Agric Office, the Regional Feeder Roads Office, The Regional Health Directorate, the Regional Education Office, The Regional Health Insurance Office, the Regional Youth Employment Office have all been completed and in use.
Other projects like Environmental Protection Agency Office, the Regional Police Headquarters are yet to be completed Again, the Regional Minister addressed the house that nine (9) bungalows meant for Regional Police Commander, Ahafo RCC and Regional Agric office have been completed and yet to be used.
He finally added that there is going to be a newly established public University namely the University of Engineering and Allied Sciences in the Region with Campuses in Goaso, Akrodie and Mim.
