The administrator speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com revealed that a timely intervention from the Assembly helped restore water to the facility thereby preventing water crises that could have had adverse impact on their operations.
With the hospital not connected to the Ghana Water Company line, the facility relied on a mechanized borehole to access water.
However, it got to a time when there was a problem so an appeal was extended to the District Assembly and they responded positively with the provision of money for the hospital to procure pumps and other works.
Throwing more light on the support from the Assembly, the DCE, Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi affirmed the Assemblies commitment to ensuring that the facility is in position at all times to respond positively to the needs of the citizens hence the intervention with the borehole and pump.
He expressed delight that the intervention with the borehole brought the needed relief to the hospital and ensured that the citizens are better served.
