The Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Governs Kwame Agbodza, engaged stakeholders and community members at the First Sky Construction site at Brekuso to provide an update on the status of the project and discuss the way forward.

The delay in the commencement of the project, which was attributed to funding arrangements, has now been addressed, with the project brought under the Government’s Big Push infrastructure programme.

The contractor is expected to remobilise to the site with the necessary machinery, equipment and personnel to commence construction works.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapim South, Hon. Paul Osae Offei, together with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Lawrencia Dziwornu, joined stakeholders and residents to receive the Minister and engage with him on the project.

For communities along the corridor, the development brings renewed hope that the long wait is nearing an end, with construction works expected to begin soon.
