Key Issue: Control the development of towns in the District

DA will prepare layouts plans for 3 major towns in the District, undertake an exercise to number all houses in the district, improve drainage in all major towns in the district and enforcing strict adherence to building regulations.

Water

Extension of pipe water (completed) at the cost of ¢61.040.114.Key Issue: Improve potable water supply and environmental sanitation in the District.

DA attention will be focused on providing potable water for all communities in the district, constructing Public Toilets and encourage the construction of Household Latrines, constructing Slaughter Houses in all major towns in the district, Training Watsans to manage and maintain water and sanitation facilities in the district and forming and training bush-fire volunteers and Disaster Volunteer Groups in all communities.
