WELCOME NOTE

Background

The Bodi District is one of the 22 districts in the Western Region of Ghana. It was created out of the former Sefwi Juaboso District in 2012 with the Legislative Instrument (LI) 2020. Sefwi Body is the administrative capital of the district. The Bodi District is located in the northern part of the Western Region. It shares borders with Juaboso District to the north, Sefwi Wiawso District to the west and Sefwi Akontombra to the south (see Figure 1.1). The district has a total land size of about 662.404 square kilometres.
