Contractor hands over KG with ancillary facilities to Appiatse reconstructed community

Standard Construction Limited officially handed over two units of a kindergarten (KG) block, a six-seater water closet with a mechanized borehole, and ancillary facilities to the Ghana Education Service (GES) at the Appiatse reconstructed community in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality.

This milestone aligns with the government's vision to transform Appiatse into a modern village following the recent disaster.

Mr. Buabeng, representative for the Education Director, praised the project, saying, "This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone in our quest to provide quality education to our children. We appreciate Standard Construction Limited for delivering this project on time and to the required standards." He assured the community that the facility will be fully operational when school resumes.

Ing. Kojo Scott, Works Engineer, commended the contractor for their professionalism and attention to detail. "The quality of work is exceptional, and we are impressed with the safety features and accessibility of the facility." He highlighted that the facility includes 2-unit classroom block, Washrooms, Headmaster/staff room, Kitchen and a playground.

Nana Yadae Kojo IV, Contractor at Standard Construction Limited, expressed his team's commitment to community development. "We are proud to have contributed to shaping Appiatse's educational landscape. This facility showcases our dedication to quality and community development." The KG block and ancillary facilities are now ready for occupation, providing a conducive learning environment for the children of Appiatse.
