GPSNP supports community in climate change intervention
Ghana Productive Safety Net Project (GPSNP) has officially handed over project sites to contractors in their respective communities in the the Talensi District.

The District Chief Executive of the Talensi District Assembly Thomas Pearson Duanab Wuni, appealed to the people to fully cooperate and support the contractors to successfully work on the Projects.
He noted that a new bore hole will be constructed to provide water for watering of the plants and several other social activities, while the climate change project for Pusu- Namongo will generate income from proceeds of shea nut seeds and other environmental benefits.
He added that the policy framework of the projects by the government is to enhance social safety nets that will improve the incomes and productivity of the poor in the country.
The DCE said it will provide work especially during off-farm season and will ensure that monies for the project are rather paid to the poor in the community in return for their services.
