The initiative is aimed at equipping beneficiaries with the necessary tools and resources to engage in productive economic activities, generate income and become more self-reliant.

The programme was attended by the Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Prosper Kumi, the Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency, Hon. Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, and the Deputy Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, alongside other stakeholders.

The intervention forms part of broader efforts to create opportunities for Persons with Disabilities to participate meaningfully in the economic and social development of their communities.

Speaking at the programme, stakeholders encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the tools provided and utilise them to establish or strengthen their respective livelihoods.

The support is expected to enable beneficiaries to undertake various income-generating activities, improve their economic independence and contribute more actively to the development of their families and communities.

The stakeholders expressed appreciation to all individuals and institutions whose efforts contributed to making the intervention possible, while encouraging continued collaboration to support Persons with Disabilities.

The programme further demonstrates the commitment of the Hohoe Municipal Assembly and its development partners to promoting inclusive development and ensuring that no group is left behind in the Municipality.

Beneficiaries were urged to take proper care of the items received and use them productively to achieve the intended purpose of the intervention.
