Volta Regional Minister Commissions Mechanised Boreholes for Anfoega and Vakpo SHS

The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has commissioned two 10,000-litre capacity mechanised boreholes at Anfoega Senior High School and Vakpo Senior High School under Phase II of the Water for All Project.

The initiative provides students and staff with reliable access to safe drinking water, as the boreholes are powered by both the national electricity grid and solar energy, ensuring uninterrupted supply even during power outages.

Hon. Gunu officially handed over the facilities to the management of the two schools, reaffirming government’s commitment to improving water infrastructure in educational institutions across the region.
