The farming inputs were presented to the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Kassim, for onward distribution to farmers in collaboration with Assembly Members across the district.

The items will complement 1,500 bags of fertiliser provided by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to the Gomoa West District Assembly for distribution to hardworking farmers.

The combined support is expected to help farmers increase yields during the lean season, reduce production challenges and contribute to strengthening food security in Gomoa West and beyond.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to support farmers with the essential inputs needed to enhance agricultural production and improve livelihoods within farming communities.

Commending farmers for their dedication and sacrifices in feeding families and contributing to national development, stakeholders expressed appreciation to the Government of H.E. John Dramani Mahama for its continued support for the agricultural sector.

The support is expected to strengthen the capacity of farmers while advancing the shared vision of building a more productive, resilient and food-secure Gomoa West.
