Ogyeahoho was confident that the re-open of the Mensin Gold Mines would create more jobs for the residents of Bibiani and its environs.
He was optimistic that Bibiani once a vibrant town would be brought back to life again with an improvement in the living circumstances of its residents.

He indicated that Mensin Gold Mines Limited took over from Anglogold Ashanti Limited for the past six years and had not started operation to date.
Ogyeahoho also used the opportunity to plead on the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh to speed up the process of the proposal document submitted to him by the Small Scale Miners Association in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality to grant them the necessary permit to operate community mining in the area to earn a better living.
The immediate past Western Regional House of Chiefs made this appealed when he was addressing a gathering at Bibiani in the Western North Region during the last day of the President’s three-day working visit.
Mr. Asomah-Cheremeh, in response, assured Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi and residents of Bibinai about government effort to reopening Mensin Gold Mines in a known time.
He hinted that his outfit was processing the requisite document and deliberations with the management of Mensin Gold Mines Limited were ongoing and that the company would soon start operation.
He announced that the government is set to re-opening Mensin Gold Mines Limited in Bibiani come October 15, 2020, to pave way for full operations to reduce unemployment in Bibiani Municipality and its surrounding.
