The project, which commenced in 2016, remained uncompleted for several years. However, in line with President John Dramani Mahama's directive to complete all abandoned public projects, the facility has now been completed and is fully operational.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Saaka noted that the Assembly had also equipped the CHPS Compound with essential medical equipment to enable health personnel to begin providing services immediately. He further announced that additional healthcare professionals would soon be posted to the facility through the District Health Directorate to strengthen healthcare delivery.

The DCE also informed residents about the upcoming Savannah Regional NDC "Accounting to the People Tour," an engagement initiative aimed at updating citizens on ongoing government projects while providing an opportunity for residents to interact with government officials, ask questions, and raise issues affecting their communities.
