The facility is expected to improve access to healthcare delivery in Dumanafo and surrounding communities by bringing essential health services closer to residents and reducing the need for long-distance travel to access medical care.

The addition of nurses’ quarters is expected to provide accommodation for health personnel, support their availability in the community and enhance the delivery of quality healthcare services.

The mechanised borehole will also provide a reliable source of water to support the operations of the health facility and promote hygienic conditions necessary for effective healthcare delivery.

The MCE said the commissioning of the projects reflects the commitment of the government, led by President John Dramani Mahama of improving healthcare infrastructure and promoting the well-being of residents in the municipality.

The projects are expected to contribute to improved access to primary healthcare, early detection and treatment of illnesses, as well as better health outcomes for people in Dumanafo and neighbouring communities.
