New Juaben South MCE Commends Nurses and Midwives at 2026 Celebration
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben South, Hon. Ransford Owusu Boakye, has commended nurses and midwives in the New Juaben North and South Municipalities for their dedication, sacrifices and invaluable contribution to healthcare delivery.

The MCE made the remarks when he honoured an invitation as Guest Speaker at the GRNMA New Juaben North and South Nurses and Midwives Week Celebration 2026.
Held under the theme, “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives,” the event provided an opportunity to recognise the vital role nurses and midwives play in promoting quality healthcare and improving the well-being of communities.

Hon. Ransford Owusu Boakye praised the nurses and midwives for their commitment to duty and the sacrifices they make in serving patients, often under challenging conditions.
He encouraged them to continue serving with commitment, compassion and professionalism, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards in healthcare delivery.

The MCE reaffirmed the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly’s (NJSMA) appreciation for the essential role nurses and midwives play in the community, noting that their dedication remains critical to building a healthier society.
The celebration brought together nurses, midwives and stakeholders to reflect on their achievements, challenges and the need to continue strengthening the nursing and midwifery profession.
