The Minister also inspected road maintenance works and other related infrastructure projects being undertaken to improve road conditions and enhance mobility within the district.

During the visits, Hon. Owusu Antwi commended the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Abdul Nasir-Dauda, and the management and staff of the Pru East District Assembly for the progress made on the various projects within a relatively short period.

He urged the Assembly to sustain the pace of development and ensure that all ongoing projects, particularly the road maintenance works, were completed according to the required standards and within the stipulated timelines.

The inspection tour forms part of efforts to monitor development projects across the region, ensure value for money and promote the timely delivery of infrastructure to improve the living conditions of residents.

The Minister's engagement with the District Assembly is expected to strengthen project monitoring and accountability while ensuring that development initiatives meet the needs of communities in the Pru East District.
