653 Assembly members set to receive motorbikes

The Volta Regional Minister, Dr Yao Letsa has officially handed over 653 motorbikes to Municipal and District assemblies in Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) at Ho.

The move is in line with the government’s commitment to equip assembly members in order to enhance decentralization at various Municipal and District levels in the region.


Dr. Letsa in his brief address stated that the motorbikes are to be given to all assembly members to ensure that they reached out to their community members in their respective Electoral Areas.


The District Chief Executive (DCE) of North Dayi who also doubles as the Regional Dean, Edmund Kudwo Attah, who received the motorbikes on behalf of his colleagues Municipal District Chief Executives expressed his gratitude to the government for the support and assured that the motorbikes will be shared to the beneficiaries.
