The projects form part of ongoing efforts to improve educational infrastructure in the municipality and provide pupils with safe, conducive and improved environments for effective teaching and learning.

The commissioning ceremonies brought together traditional leaders, Assembly members, education authorities, teachers, parents, community members and other stakeholders, who expressed their appreciation for the investment in education.

Speaking at the ceremonies, the MP stressed the importance of community ownership and the proper maintenance of the facilities to ensure their sustainability and continued benefit to pupils and the wider communities.

The MCE also encouraged residents and school authorities to take responsibility for the facilities and ensure that they are well maintained to serve their intended purpose for many years.
