The facilities, located at Sung, Nyensabga, Nyengbalo and Kokpelga, are expected to bring essential healthcare services closer to residents and reduce the challenges associated with travelling long distances to access medical care.

The commissioning of the facilities marks a significant step towards improving healthcare infrastructure and promoting the well-being of residents, particularly those living in rural and underserved communities within the constituency.

Hon. Mohammed Amin Adam said the provision of accessible and quality healthcare remained a key priority, stressing that improving health infrastructure was essential to ensuring the well-being and development of the people.

He noted that the new facilities would help address the healthcare needs of the beneficiary communities and surrounding areas by providing residents with easier access to basic medical services, including maternal and child healthcare, disease prevention and treatment.

He urged the residents and health personnel to ensure the facilities were properly maintained and put to good use for the benefit of the communities.

The commissioning was welcomed by residents and community leaders, who expressed gratitude for the intervention and said the facilities, would help reduce the burden and cost of travelling to distant towns to seek medical attention.
