The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkoranza South, Hon. Godfred Dapaah, said the project reflected the commitment of President John Dramani Mahama to improving healthcare delivery and ensuring that communities had access to quality and essential health services.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Dapaah emphasised the importance of strengthening healthcare infrastructure to bring medical services closer to residents, particularly those in communities where access to healthcare facilities could be challenging.

He said the facility is expected to improve access to basic healthcare services for residents of Akropong and surrounding communities, contributing to better health outcomes.

The MCE encouraged residents to protect and maintain the facility to ensure that it served the community effectively for many years.

He stressed that safeguarding public infrastructure is a collective responsibility and urged community members to work together to preserve the facility for the benefit of present and future generations.

“Let us all take collective responsibility for safeguarding our public infrastructure for the benefit of present and future generations,” he said.
