Olivia Bentil Inspects Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Primary Health Facility Ahead of Commissioning

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, Hon. Olivia Bentil, has joined a team from the Ministry of Health on a working visit to the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Primary Health Care Facility to assess the progress of work ahead of its commissioning.

The inspection provided an opportunity for the DCE and the Ministry of Health team to assess the state of the facility and ensure that outstanding works are addressed as preparations intensify towards its official commissioning.

Hon. Olivia Bentil expressed satisfaction with the significant progress made so far, commending all stakeholders whose efforts have brought the important health project closer to completion.

According to the DCE, the facility is expected to become a major boost to healthcare delivery in the district by improving residents' access to quality and reliable healthcare services.

She noted that the completion of the facility would help strengthen the district's healthcare system and ensure that residents can access essential medical services in a more conducive environment.

Hon. Bentil reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to supporting initiatives and development projects that promote the health and wellbeing of residents.

She expressed optimism that the remaining processes would be completed successfully to pave the way for the commissioning of the facility and its subsequent benefits to communities across the district.
