Wa East DCE Supports PWDs with Motorbikes, Refrigerators, Laptops and Financial Assistance

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wa East, Hon. Adamu Sayibu, has supported Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the district with various items and financial assistance to help improve their livelihoods and promote greater independence.

The support package included motorbikes, refrigerators, laptops, cheques and other livelihood-support items, presented to selected beneficiaries as part of efforts to empower PWDs to engage in productive activities and improve their living conditions.

The intervention is aimed at providing beneficiaries with the necessary resources to develop sustainable livelihoods, reduce economic vulnerability and participate more actively in the socio-economic development of the Wa East District.

The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to Hon. Adamu Sayibu and the Wa East District Assembly for the support, describing the gesture as an important opportunity to improve their livelihoods.

They also commended the DCE and the Assembly for their continued attention to the needs and welfare of Persons with Disabilities in the district and expressed their commitment to making productive use of the items and assistance received.
