North Gonja Assembly Supports HIV/AIDS Sensitisation and Wellness Clinic at Mankarigu
The North Gonja District Assembly has fully funded a one-day HIV/AIDS sensitisation programme and wellness clinic organised by the Ghana Health Service at Mankarigu.

The initiative was aimed at educating residents on HIV/AIDS prevention and management while providing them with basic health screening and wellness services.
The Assemblywoman for the area, Hon. Zeinab, joined the team of health professionals during the exercise and supported efforts to ensure the programme was successfully carried out.
The programme brought together health professionals from Daboya and Mankarigu, who assisted with the sensitisation and wellness activities.
Also present were the North Gonja District Assembly HIV/AIDS Focal Person, Mr. Mohammed Nii Narn Adjierteh; HIV/AIDS Project Accountant, Mr. Isaac Nkrumah; and the Medical Officer in charge of the Mankarigu Health Centre, Mr. James Addo.
The exercise forms part of efforts to promote HIV/AIDS awareness and encourage residents to pay greater attention to their health through regular screening and wellness checks.
