Under the initiative, each of the District’s four area councils Nchumuru, Grubi, Banda, and Borae received 20 streetlight bulbs for installation in their respective areas.

To further support the exercise, all 26 Assembly Members were each provided with one streetlight bulb to supplement the allocations made to their electoral areas.

Addressing beneficiaries, Mr. Anato assured residents that additional streetlight bulbs would be supplied in the near future. He reiterated his commitment to making Krachi Nchumuru one of the best-lit districts in Ghana through sustained investments in public lighting infrastructure.

On behalf of the Assembly Members, the Presiding Member, Mr. Awal Muhammed, expressed gratitude to the DCE for what he described as a laudable and timely intervention.

He also pledged that Assembly Members would ensure the proper installation and maintenance of the streetlights to improve visibility, strengthen security, and enhance the overall lighting system across the district’s communities.
