The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Khaari Fuseini, described the facility as a significant addition to the district’s security infrastructure, expected to improve the delivery of essential security services to residents.

He said the facility would support crime prevention, enhance emergency response, improve traffic management and strengthen the overall capacity of the Police Service to maintain law and order.

Hon. Fuseini called on traditional authorities, known as Nananom, and the entire community to take ownership of the facility, protect it and support the Police Service to ensure that it served its intended purpose.

He stressed the importance of community participation in maintaining the facility and creating an enabling environment for effective policing.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Hon. Kwame Twumasi Ampofo, urged residents to maintain a strong and cordial relationship with the security services to promote peace and stability.

He noted that effective collaboration between the community and the Police was essential to preventing crime, addressing security concerns and safeguarding lives and property.

Hon. Ampofo also assured Nananom and residents that the government remained committed to strengthening the country’s security institutions by providing the necessary infrastructure and support to protect the peace, security and well-being of the people.

The commissioning of the headquarters is expected to improve the operational capacity of the Police Service in the district and bring security services closer to residents.

The facility is also expected to enhance coordination between the Police and community members, contributing to a safer environment for social and economic activities.
