Atebubu-Amantin MCE, MP Support Faakwasi Police Station Project with Building Materials

Atebubu-Amantin, Bono East Region – The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atebubu-Amantin, Hon. Masud Musah Ayarba Thomas, together with the Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency, Hon. Sanja Nanja, have donated 100 bags of cement and 10 packets of roofing sheets to support the completion of a community-initiated police station project at Faakwasi.

The donation forms part of ongoing efforts by the two leaders to strengthen security infrastructure and promote peace and development within the Atebubu-Amantin Municipality.

Receiving the items on behalf of the community, the Chief of Faakwasi, Nana Amoako Gyampa, expressed profound gratitude to the MCE and the MP for their timely intervention. He noted that the completion of the police station would significantly improve security, enhance law enforcement, and contribute to maintaining peace and order in the area.

Addressing residents during the presentation, Hon. Masud Musah Ayarba Thomas urged the youth of Faakwasi to refrain from drug abuse and instead channel their energies into productive activities that would foster community growth and development.

For his part, Hon. Sanja Nanja reaffirmed his commitment to supporting community-driven development initiatives, emphasizing that the police station project would play a vital role in safeguarding lives and property while strengthening security services in the constituency.
