The exercise held on Tuesday, 27th October 2026, formed part of activities to mark October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer, encourage early detection, and promote regular breast screening among women in the municipality.

The exercise also provided an opportunity for participants to access screening services and receives information on the importance of early diagnosis and seeking timely medical attention.

The initiative forms part of efforts by the Assembly to promote public health, improve access to preventive healthcare, and educate residents on the need to prioritise their health.
