The initiative, executed by Tasal Engineering Limited, involves drilling three boreholes that will feed into a 30,000-litre polytank, ensuring reliable storage and distribution. From this central facility, water will flow through three strategically positioned public standpipes, designed to serve the community effectively.

The project is expected to ease the burden on households, particularly women and children, who often trek long distances in search of potable water. By cutting down travel time, the intervention will not only improve convenience but also enhance sanitation and public health across the community.

Although the official timeline is six months, the contractor has assured residents of completion within three to four months, provided conditions remain favorable. This development marks another significant step in strengthening basic infrastructure and improving the living standards of the people of Akwamufie.
