The project, funded by the parish partners in Germany, aims to provide a conducive learning environment for the students in the area. The newly constructed classroom block is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance teaching and learning.

The spacious classrooms are well-furnished and have ample lighting and ventilation, creating a comfortable space for students to study. Additionally, the building is fitted with modern sanitation facilities to ensure the health and hygiene of the students.

During the commissioning ceremony, Reverend Father John Kpan of St. Augustine’s Catholic Parish expressed his gratitude to the parish partners in Germany for their generous support in funding the project.

He emphasized the importance of education in empowering the youth and building a brighter future for the community. While calling on the community to own the facility and take good care of it, the Man of God also appealed to the Wa East District Director of Education to endeavour to post competent and hardworking early childhood teachers to the facility.

The members of the Tiisa community were also in attendance at the commissioning ceremony, expressing their joy and gratitude for the new classroom block.

They hailed St. Augustine’s Catholic Parish for their commitment to improving education in the area and providing a better learning environment for their children. The community led by Mr Adams, however, bemoaned the absence of a water facility on the school premises.

He appealed to the DCE and MP whose representatives were there to grace the occasion to come to their aid. The Wa East District Director, Ayisha Ibrahim Jinsung, on her part, reiterated the need for a positive maintenance culture and the full utilisation of the edifice.
