Some 153 individuals who completed the Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship program have received startup kits at a graduation ceremony held at the assembly's forecourt.

The kits include; sewing machines, hair Dryers, Drillers, Screw Driver set among others.
The municipality's selection for this program is credited to the Member of Parliament in the area George Mireku Duker's and the District Chief Executive Benjamin Kesse’s effective lobbying.
The Member of Parliament reiterated his commitment towards youth economic empowerment through self-help projects and employment.
He noted that his continued and untiring service to Ghana, especially his constituents, had been a source of joy and fulfillment to him.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and the MasterCard Foundation, under the Business in a Box (BizBox) Project.
The BizBox Project aims to provide skills development training, mentorship, and coaching to young people to become entrepreneurs and create dignified job opportunities.
