Achiase District Assembly Climbs to 9th in Eastern Region Public Financial Management Compliance Rankings

The Achiase District Assembly has recorded a significant improvement in the 2025 Public Financial Management (PFM) Compliance League Table, moving up the rankings in recognition of its strong financial management practices.

The Assembly improved from 15th position out of 33 districts in the Eastern Region in 2024 to 9th position in 2025, reflecting notable progress in key public financial management performance indicators.

The improved ranking underscores the Assembly's commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial governance, which continue to strengthen service delivery and institutional performance.

Following the achievement, the Assembly expressed optimism about attaining an even higher position in the coming year, with the goal of being ranked among the top three district assemblies in the Eastern Region in the 2026 PFM Compliance League Table.

The Assembly also acknowledged the collective efforts that contributed to the milestone, congratulating District Chief Executive Hon. Samuel Owusu Brako, the Coordinating Director, Mr. Quashie, Heads of Departments and Units, Assembly Members, staff of the Assembly, development partners, traditional authorities, and all stakeholders for their dedication and commitment to improving public financial management in the district.
