The Public Relations Officer for Lower Manya Ghana Education Service, Ms. Sophia Manyenyo Samadzi said in an interview that 1,846 students in public schools in the municipality were sitting for the examination.

The schools include Kodjonya Mellenium Presby School, Nuaso Anglican, Odumase Krobo Roman Catholic School, and Kpong M/A JHS, among others.

There are also 592 students from private schools, and that included Our Lady of Fatimah School, Tan-Talented Academy, and among others.

She stated that boys who sat for the examination in both private and public schools were 1,108, while girls were 1,267.

The public relations officers explained that the directorate recorded one “Blair Vision” student sitting for the exam.

“We have informed the West African Examination Council (WAEC) about the Blair Vision student, and arrangements have been made for the student to be able to write exams,” she said.

She said the affected student has been assisted by WAEC because his question paper had large written words than that of the other students, who are participating in the examination.
