DCE for North Dayi offers relief packages to cushion women
Mr. Kudjoh Attah has personally designed some relief packages to cushion women in coping with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and help boost the local economy.

The offer includes One Thousand (1000) sacks of kaolin (white clay) a local mineral at Anfoega to vulnerable but hardworking women whose businesses were highly impacted by the pandemic; particularly small scale businesses.
Addressing the women in a short ceremony, on Monday, 1st June 2020 at the forecourt of Assembly, the hardworking and dynamic DCE, reiterated that the pandemic has affected the global economy and Ghana in particular, has been equally affected in many ways.
"There are some women who were completely out of business and it is against this backdrop that I am distributing One Thousand (10000) sacks worth Ten thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh 10,000.00) Support in my personal capacity to some selected poor and vulnerable women in my district," he stressed
"The outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact on all economies around the world, and also affected rural economies and so this gesture demonstrates the important roles I have observed that women play in the growth and development of our families and the economy, necessitating this special attention, " This justifies his show of magnanimity and benevolence.
The DCE urged beneficiaries to use the inputs received for the intended purpose, “so that, together, we can work to grow our district once again.
He mentioned that His Excellency, Nana Akufo Addo and his NPP government have a symbiotic relationship with women and the vulnerable in society, hence; the directive that greater percentage of Masloc loans be given to women and his personal decision to assist the women in these trying times.
"I am very confident that this will mark a beginning of new an era in transforming lives of people we are to serve and thus boost local economic development, " he emphasized.
“If women are poor, the family suffers and the responsibility lies on those of us in authority to assist; we are not in normal times and this is the time for politicians to reach out to constituents and revive businesses,” he ended.
The women who received bags of kaolin each were full of praise for the DCE and promised to help campaign for him to become the next MP for the area.
