Africa Skills Hub impacts residents of Kintampo Municipality

Africa Skills Hub is a development and social enterprise-oriented organization that creates economic and skill-based opportunities for Africa’s youth and women.

Since 2016 it has impacted directly, over three hundred (300) young graduates to obtain skills and jobs; over two thousand (2000) small and medium enterprises provided with entrepreneurship training; over five thousand (5000) women empowered through our economic empowerment initiatives; and over twelve thousand five hundred (12500) empowered through community dialogues and engagement with their Vision, to be a leading center in the creation of opportunities for Africa’s sustainable development and Mission to build skilled African youth and women as agents of change in their communities.

Last year project managers of Africa Skills Hub were at the kintampo municipality in collaboration with the Municipal Youth Authority to register over Six hundred (600) youth most especially women ages from 18 to 35 to take them through training models such as financial literacy and entrepreneurship and business development which each model is expected to take two days.

In an interview with the Municipal Youth Authority Director Mr. Shaibu Fuseini Fenteduah revealed that, the main aim of the project in the municipality is to support the youth to expand their business and to reduce youth unemployment in the municipality.
