The traditional council made this call at Ogyeahoho's palace at Sefwi Anhwiaso in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

The chiefs continued that their attention has been drawn to some news publications circulated in the media space that,
On April 4, 2024, Her Worship, Beatrice Boatemaah Damoah ESQ., presiding over the Bibiani District Magistrate Court reaffirmed Nana Ngoh Kodom ll, as the rightful grantor of Bibiani lands in judgement of a suit No. A11/12/2022 between Joseph Obiri Yeboah -[plaintiff] versus 1] Asamoah 2]- Afoko [defendants],

In the same judgement with suit No. A1/143/15 between Madam Grace Asamoa,[plaintiff] versus Church of Pentecost [PIWC-BIBIANI, DEFENDANT] delivered by this same District Magistrate Court of Bibiani held on Monday the 14th Day of September 2015 before His Worship Felix Datsomor ESQ, where Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II as Grantor of the plaintiff testified as plaintiff’s first witness [PW1].

At a press conference addressed by Nana Kwadwo Somiah ll, Chief of Nkatam and Abakohene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, accepted the court judgement in good faith.

He however, explained further that the said, judgement was specifically on a particular portion of 80×70 plot of land suited at Kwamekrom a suburb of Bibiani and not the entirely Bibiani lands as Nana Anyimah Kodom ll, is peddling around to deceive people.
He stressed.

Nana Somiah ll, said they cannot fathom the wrongful claims of land ownership by some unqualified individuals in the area.

Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, the Paramount Chief of Anhwiaso Traditional Area, is the only custodial title holder as far as lands in the area, including Bibiani, are concerned, he told the press.

According to Berema Okofo Kwabena Obeng ll, The Chief of Pataboso who doubles as the new Aduana Abusuapanin of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Bibiani has no chief and that Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom, who is currently parading himself as chief of the area, has not been installed.

He, therefore, cautioned anyone dealing with him in business or otherwise to be guided, or do so at their own risk.

Per the tradition of the Area, the chief who is mandated traditionally and lawfully to control Bibiani is the chief of Kyikyiwere, who doubles as Krontihene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council, known as Nana Anarfi Ababio.

"I am the father of Krontihene division and Bibiani has never had a chief before, since time immemorial but the town always controlled by the chief of Kyikyiwere"

He assured the two parties, families and community members to promote peaceful coexistence among them, by directing companies, estate developers and individuals to visit stool lands office in Bibiani for all their land related cases in order to reduce land litigations.

Okofo Kwabena Obeng expressed his readiness to settle all petty land issues that existed in Bibiani and it's environs, adding that without peace it would be extremely difficult to seek development for the Area.
