The District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Adu-Poku Christian in his keynotes address urged the youth to take advantage of the initiative to advance themselves.

He admonished the teeming youth to be proud of the few selected since it’s an opportunity for them to excel through and to showcase their talent to the world.

“This is a very good opportunity for you to begin something. Not everybody will get an opportunity as a government employer but the current government thinks about the welfare of the youth, perhaps the introduction of the YouStart programme to absorb some, equip them with financial capital to establish their own businesses. I will entreat all to embrace the program to make it judicious”. He added

The DCE applauded the government for always considering the plea of the youth in their numerous initiatives and seized the opportunity to call on the public to take advantage of the Green Ghana to plant more trees in their homes.

Madam, Marina Kusi, Head of the Afigya Kwabre South District Business Advisory Center (BAC) and the program facilitator also highlighted the mission and vision of the YouStart programme.
