Prestea Huni-Valley MCE, MP Commission New KG Block and Teachers’ Quarters at Bandahu
The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley, Matthew Ayeh, together with the Member of Parliament for the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, has commissioned a newly completed 2-unit Kindergarten block and teachers’ quarters at Bandahu to boost education delivery in the community.

The newly commissioned facility is expected to provide a safer and more conducive learning environment for pupils while also addressing accommodation challenges faced by teachers in the area.
The project forms part of ongoing efforts by the Assembly and stakeholders to strengthen educational infrastructure and improve access to quality education across the municipality.
Addressing community members during the commissioning ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to investing in education and creating better opportunities for children through improved school infrastructure.
The Member of Parliament also underscored the importance of providing modern educational facilities and decent accommodation for teachers to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Residents and education stakeholders in Bandahu welcomed the intervention and expressed appreciation to the Assembly and government for the project, describing it as a major boost to education development within the community.
The commissioning ceremony brought together traditional authorities, education officials, Assembly members, teachers, parents, and residents who gathered to witness the handing over of the facility.
