SEKYERE S: Agonaman Association in USA donates to Agona Hospital

The Agonaman Association of USA has donated items worth millions of Ghanaian cedis to the Agona government hospital in the Sekyere South District.

The team that presented the items were Mr Samuel Adu, the president of the association, Mr Akwasi Asamoah Afriyie –treasure, and Mr George Acheampon- country representative.

In an interactions with the president of the association Mr Samuel Adu unveiled that, they have the hospital at heart and it is always their desire to contribute their quota to improve upon the quality of health delivery in the hospital.

He continued that, they have been supporting the hospital in diverse ways since time in memorial and they still have a lot under their sleeves to offer them by and by.

"Now we are thinking of supporting the hospital with ambulance, putting up new edifice to beef up the existing infrastructures and computers so that the health workers could go extra mile in their service delivery".

The country Rep of the association also call on the staff to work with passion and empathy to make it admirable for patience to attend to hospital.

He finally appealed to them to make a judicious use of items they have delivered to the hospital.

Dr Emmanuel Kyeremateng, the Acting Medical Superintendent of the hospital received the items on behalf of the hospital in good fate and also appealed to the NGOs and other corporate organizations to throw their weight behind them so that they could solve their numerous challenge.
