Work on Musuku Bridge progressing steadily

Construction work on the main Musuku-Ashongman Estate road bridge in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra region is progressing steadily and will soon be completed and opened to motorists.

The bridge, which links Ashongman Estate to neighboring communities like Dome, Kwabenya, Taifa and Haatso among others, was closed for reconstruction after developing heavy cracks due to the lack of maintenance culture.

Contractors were however, busily working on the bridge to meet the scheduled date of completion when Ghanadistricts.com and Ghanadistricts TV visited the project site to have firsthand information about the extent of work done.

A temporary road diversion from Asore Junction to Wonder Junction has also been provided to motorists by the Chinese Contractors to help control traffic in the area as work progresses.

In a development, work is seriously ongoing on the Atomic Roundabout-Kwabenya to help improve transportation in the area.

The road forms part of the number of road contractor that were awarded on contract by the government this year.
