PRAMPRAM: Abia DA Basic School to get an ICT center

Three philanthropists have extended financial assistance to the Abia D /A Basic School in the Ningo Prampram District through the sales of artifacts and other items in the United Kingdom for the establishment of an Information Communication Technology (ICT) center for the school.

According to the headmaster of the school, Mr. J. K Kusi the school authorities have been notified that one of the philanthropists, who also double as a liaison, Ms. Felicia Adjei Kai, is coming to Ghana along with the Thousand Pounds (£1000) realized from friends and sales of artifacts and other items in the United Kingdom to make the official donation to the school.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area Mr. Jonathan Doku acknowledged the immerse support the school has received previously from the benefactors and expressed his gratitude for this unexpected but timely intervention.

He was optimistic that an ICT center would make computer lessons easy as well as give the pupils a platform to develop their talents.
