AMA boss assures of tackling environmental cleanliness - AMA Boss
The Mayor of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mohamed Adjei Sowah has said all is being done to tackle issues related to environmental cleanness.

According to the Mayor of Accra, major flood prone areas are being tackled, and he recounted Mallam Junction and currently Kaneshie first traffic light.
He further pointed out that, the Ministry of Works and Housing have awarded contracts for construction of many storm drains, and mention areas like industrial area, South Odorkor and many areas within the capital.
“Drains that were constructed during pre-colonial times, they are not serving useful purpose now, we are ensuring that we fix the drain problem in Accra, we talk of clean Accra we are not just talking about the solid waste”.
He added that drain maintenance, is also key to environmental cleanliness, “we are tackling all issues related to environmental cleanness upfront”, he said in an interview.
