NANUMBA S: Authorities explores communities for 1 village, 1 dam project
The District Chief Executive of Nanumba South District, Natogmah Ibrahim Mukaila has on the 26th Feb. 2018, led a team of officers and engineers from the office of the Northern Development Authority to begin a three (3) day examination and design of sites allocated for the one village, one dam project in ten (10) selected communities for a start.

Some of the communities to benefit include: Sakpe, Binda, Danaado, Kpayansi, Puduya and Tampoaya.
The idea behind the construction of these dams is to help improve and ensure all year round agriculture, particularly irrigation farming.
